“The Pinot Gris Tradition is all Oregon in 2024, and it's an impressive rendition made by Dylan Roche. The grapes originate from a prestigious Dundee Hills estate in Oregon and were chosen to replace the now infamous vintage wiped out by winter kill. The winemaking is a nod to France, with longer maturation in seasoned barrels that build texture and layers of complexity in a wine stuffed with fruit. Pears, peaches, and honeysuckle with vibrant acidity are the blueprint for a beautifully balanced white wine you won't want to miss. Seared scallops, or chorizo and frites with black truffle salt is the winery match.”

“Grown in Okanagan Falls, with a southwest exposure, the Artist Series version is a lovely, rich version of gris but not over the top. The nose is a pleasant affair of pitted orchard fruits, ginger spice, and beeswax. All of that spills onto a creamy palate, stoked by just the right amount of acidity to keep the balance running through the finish.”
