Pinot Noir 'Tradition' Dundee Hills 2024

A single vineyard Pinot Noir from the renowned Dundee Hills AVA of the Willamette Valley, this shows the depth, richness, and complexity distinctive to the region. Expect lush red cherry, pomegranate, and raspberry, lifted by alluring violet florals. Dundee Hills is about more than just the fruit, and this shows the iron-like minerality of its volcanic soils, framed by a delicate touch of toast and clove.

90points

This is a top 2024 replacement wine made in BC, with fruit purchased by the Roche family from the famed Dundee Hills in Oregon. There is lovely richness here and a rare combination of ripe fruit and fresh forest floor that speaks to Oregon’s volcanic Jory soils. Red fruited and lively, you get clarity of fruit with slippery tannins and savoury bright acidity, all of which makes it very easy to drink.

Terroir

In a year when the Okanagan Valley's vineyards were decimated by cold, our friends Russell and Delphine offered grapes from their prestigious Dundee Hills estate in Oregon. Dylan and Russell's mutual respect began while studying winemaking in Burgundy 20 years ago. Joyfully, our friendship continues today.
