Library Wine: nuances 2019
From the Kozier Organic Vineyard perched high on the Naramata Bench, our Merlot has achieved optimal ripeness and is the rounding feature to this wine. Further south in the Okanagan just north of Tuc-el-nuit Lake, the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are the perfect balance to compliment this delicious small lot wine.

This wine demonstrates the Bordelaise style - complexity, finesse, with structure for aging. A ripe vintage, with lifted notes of crushed black cherries, charcoal and tobacco flowers, on the finish. This elegant wine is Dylan and Pénélope's love story in a bottle.

Terroir
The Merlot comes from Kozier organic vineyard on the Naramata Bench. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc come from the Suncrest Vineyard in Oliver where the terroir mainly consists of sand, with small pockets of gravel. With around 2040 hours of sunshine per year and less than 20 centimetres of rainfall, this is the perfect place to ripen Bordeaux varieties.

Stainless steel fermented.
Aging
Aged for 12 months in French oak, 10% new for subtle cinnamon notes.
