Cabernet Franc 'Artist' 2022
This wine captures the pristine elegance of the 2022 vintage, with juicy, just-picked raspberry and red cherry fruit that’s heightened by fragrant rose petals. An accent of savoury spices, from pink peppercorn to star anise, emerges as it evolves in the glass, leading to a long, gravelly finish.
Tasting Notes
Tart Morello cherry, cinnamon stick, dried sage. Very juicy, lively acid, with mellow powdery tannins. Put a new artist on the record player, turn up the funk, and dance the Thursday night away with your favourite folk. Winsome, easygoing, a crowd-pleaser.

Terroir
Cabernet Franc is grown just north of Oliver, on well-sorted rounded river rock and gravel, a remnant of post-glacial riverbed.
Winemaking
Stainless steel fermentation at moderate temperature for bright, savoury fruit.

Aged 12 months in neutral oak.
